As a customer-owned bank, our customers and their communities are at the heart of everything we do. It’s an important part of our ethos to give to our communities in support of their goals. We are proud to support a range of community activities as highlighted below.

Qantas Pathfinders

Qantas Pathfinders is one of Australia’s most successful volunteer fundraising committees, raising funds to support NextSense (formerly RIDBC). Through various fun and unique annual events, the charity has raised over $8.3 million since they began in 1967. Qantas Pathfinders members are a dedicated group of present and past Qantas Cabin Crew, Pilots, ground staff and friends. Each year Qudos Bank is a proud sponsor of the Qantas Pathfinders Revue – a hilarious live musical featuring fabulous singing, dancing and a live band, showcasing the fun side of the airline industry.

Qantas Cabin Crew Team

The Qantas Cabin Crew Team (QCCT) is a charity organisation made up of volunteers from the Qantas network and others in the community.
These volunteers help less fortunate children across Australia and the world to receive support in the form of assistance with hands on projects, job-skills training and education. Qudos Bank supports fundraising walks across Australia and Golf days each year, raising much needed funds for these selfless volunteers.

Red Tail Road to 100

The Red Tail Road to 100 initiative reunites former Qantas employees from around Australia and overseas. The organisation fosters the preservation of lifelong friendships and celebrates milestones through events and social media. During the Qantas Centenary year, the members are actively organising celebrations co-ordinated by its Chapters nationally and overseas.
Qudos bank support these reunion events throughout the year, creating and nurturing these relationships.

Qantas Founders Museum

The Qantas Founders Museum tells the incredible history of Qantas, Australia’s national airline. From its early beginnings in Outback Queensland to present day. Based in Longreach, Queensland the Museum has since it was created in 1996 been widely recognised as a must-see for tourists.
Qudos Bank has been an integral part of the history of Qantas Airways for the past 60 years and is honoured to assist the museum in celebrating the heritage of Qantas.

Australian & International Pilots Association

The Australian and International Pilots Association (AIPA) is a professional association that represents over 2600 domestic and international pilots that occupy the flight decks of the Qantas Group aircrafts. AIPA provides their members with Legal and Industrial advice on many matters, runs a Welfare department dealing with all aspects of pilots’ wellbeing, provides additional Safety & Technical training to their members and runs support groups such as the AIPA Women’s Group. They have a team of dedicated professionals who look after their members’ interests.

Each year Qudos Bank supports AIPA through financial wellness information and through the AIPA Retiree dinner which celebrates the achievements and commitments of Pilots.

Uplift Support Project

Uplift was established by a group of Pilot representatives in Sydney to support NSW pilots under such serious financial pressure that it is affecting their own and their family's wellbeing.

On a global scale, aviation remains one of the industries that was first and most profoundly impacted by COVID-19 and it is expected to be one of the last industries to fully recover. Most pilots have been stood down unpaid and are not flying.

Typically pilots have the financial security to weather the storm, but there are some, particularly those who have newly joined the company, who do not.

Uplift provides a way for those who can spare a little, to help those under financial stress to the extent their wellbeing is significantly affected.

Talent Development Project

The Talent Development Project (TDP) is the most successful youth training and development program for young musicians in Australia. Since 1991, the TDP have auditioned thousands of NSW public high school students who are passionate about a career in the entertainment industry.

Through Qudos Bank Arena, Qudos Bank provide students the opportunity to perform in the member lounge before concerts and gain exposure. In addition to this, Qudos sponsor a performer each year providing them with $5000 towards developing their career and producing music, videos and travel.
